What the site collects
This site has no forms and no accounts; nothing you type is collected, because there is nowhere to type it.
We count visits using Umami, an open-source analytics tool running on our own server — no outside analytics company is involved. It records which pages are viewed, the site a visitor came from, the type of browser and device, and an approximate location (city level, estimated from the network address). It sets no cookies, does not retain network addresses, and cannot identify who a visitor is. We keep these aggregate statistics indefinitely.
If you email or call us
If you write to us, we receive whatever you choose to send — typically a name, an email address, and something about the student. We use it to reply and to arrange lessons; families of current students also occasionally hear from us about recitals, workshops, and schedule changes. Correspondence is read only within the school and is never shared. We keep it unless and until you ask us to delete it.
What we do not do
We do not sell or share personal information, run advertising, or use third-party tracking of any kind. Because the site does not track anyone across the web, a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal from your browser changes nothing — every visitor already gets the same treatment.
The site collects no information from anyone, children included; the only personal details we ever hold are the ones families send us directly.
